What does the free check measure?
Integrated LUFS and true peak (inter-sample peaks, 4× oversampled), per ITU-R BS.1770-4. Then we show what each of 8 streaming platforms will do to your track at playback, and whether your peaks exceed its recommended ceiling.
Do I need to sign up?
No. The check itself is free, no account required. Email is optional — only if you want a written PDF report.
What file formats work?
WAV, MP3, FLAC, AAC, OGG. Up to 100 MB. We process in your browser when possible — your file never sits on our servers longer than the analysis takes.
How accurate is it?
Same BS.1770-4 algorithm streaming services use, with 4× polyphase sinc true-peak detection. The analyzer is the same one driving our paid mastering chain — no watered-down free tier.
What if my master isn't hitting the target?
The free check tells you the gap. If you want to fix it, our 16-stage mastering chain at /app targets the exact LUFS your distributor expects. Free A/B preview before you pay anything.
